Written statement of reasons for dismissal

From Friday 25 July, gone are the days of vague and vanilla letters of dismissal.

Clear reasons for termination must be included in such letters to ensure that employers remain compliant with the law. An award of eight weeks’ pay could be granted if your dismissal letters do not comply with the new requirements.

This doesn’t have to be a concern; however, the experts at LAW will always guide you through the right process to ensure a fair termination occurs. We can even help with drafting a fully compliant termination letter that meets these new requirements. Get in touch with your LAW contact today!
