Our Story

Law At Work have been helping businesses since 2004.

Law At Work started life as an HR and Health and Safety advisory service for small commercial businesses in Jersey. Our client base grew, and our offering grew at the same rate. We listened to our clients and launched consultancy services and a learning delivery programme in Jersey.

After a management buyout in 2010, Kelly Flageul and Heidi Gibaut took LAW to new heights. We opened our Guernsey office, and our Jersey team grew so much we had to move to accommodate all our new talent. Over the years we acquired two Health and Safety consultancy firms and more recently, acquired ASL international Recruitment and launched a partnership with WorkHealth Jersey to provide even more expert advice and better service our clients.

Today, our unique approach to people and safety continues to empower businesses in the Channel Islands to do better and grow further.

Law At Work is established as a joint venture between local law firm Mourant & Scottish firm Maclays.
Kelly Flageul joins as LAW’s first HR consultant.
Heidi Gibaut joins as LAW’s senior HR consultant.
Law At Work opens it’s Guernsey Office.
Lorna Pestana joins as an Executive Director.
Law At Work establishes it’s Training Academy.
