Disability Discrimination Reasonable Adjustments Training

Who needs this training?

Any person who is responsible for ensuring that their workplace conforms with the requirements of Regulation 4 under the Discrimination (Disability) (Jersey) Regulations 2018.

 

Why is this training required?

To allow those with responsibilities to establish how well their buildings perform to allow access and ease of use by a wide range of potential users and in particular employees, customers and visitors with a disability or impairment and to be aware of the need to put reasonable adjustments in place.

 

Learning Outcomes
    • Understand the terms Disability and Impairment.
    • Be able to identify types of reasonable adjustments.
    • Understand the basic principles of an access audit.
    • Guidance on the common issues that LAW Access Auditors see and the reasonable adjustments that are recommended.
    • Guidance on the steps to be taken for business planning.
