A graduate of London South Bank University, Val’s career took her from the UK to Jersey, sharpening her skills along the way in all aspects of finance, including cost reduction programmes, strategic planning, business process improvement and change management.
She joined the Law At Work team after working as a Finance Director for several companies. Val is responsible for all aspects of financial management and accounting control and contributes to the strategic development of the company. She also heads up our Payroll and Administration outsourced services.
When not at work, Val splits her time between gardening and enjoying discovering new parts of the island as a volunteer ride leader for the Breeze cycling programme. She is also a Trustee and Director of Beresford Street Kitchen, Secretary of the Young Enterprise Area Board, and the Treasurer for Jersey Carers.
