Many companies are committed to achieving good quality in the products and services they provide; although, there are many instances where companies fail to consistently accomplish and deliver the standards of quality expected.
The cost associated with poor quality is real. Poor quality or bad service from organisations can lead to financial costs, reputation costs, reworking, waste, scrap, increased liability & insurance costs, along with product recalls.
