Giancarlo is a Chartered Safety and Health Professional and Registered Environmental Health Practitioner recognised as a Royal Society for Public Health Fellow.
With a Master of Environmental Health and a BSc (Hons) in Environmental Science, he brings extensive expertise in various critical areas, including food safety, water safety, licensing, and health & safety management.
Throughout his career, Giancarlo has worked in both the public and private sectors, helping organisations successfully navigate complex public health challenges. He focuses on food safety, allergens, housing, and outbreak investigations. He has also led numerous workplace accident investigations and safety initiatives, demonstrating a solid commitment to safety and compliance at both local and international levels.
He is passionate about fostering business continuity through effective policy development and implementation. With a broad understanding of regulatory enforcement and compliance, he plays a vital role in ensuring environmental health standards are met, significantly impacting community and workplace wellbeing and safety.
Giancarlo recently moved to Jersey from London with his wife and their two dogs. Although the pace of life is very different, he’s enjoying the change and looks forward to the new opportunities the Island offers.
