Heidi has been part of the Law At Work Group for nearly twenty years, playing a key role in its growth into a trusted people and leadership consultancy that blends commercial thinking with deeply human leadership.
Since starting her career in HR in 2000, Heidi has accumulated over 25 years of experience in employment relations, leadership capability, and people strategy across both the public and private sectors. Much of her early career was dedicated to specialising in employee relations and supporting organisations through complexity, change, and growth – experience that now informs her approach to leadership development and organisational culture.
Today, Heidi’s focus is on positioning LAW as a recognised leader in learning, thought leadership, and resolution, attracting organisations that aim to move beyond compliance-led HR and into meaningful, capability-driven leadership development. Through the LAW Collective and Leadership Legacy, she is creating spaces where leaders can think differently, challenge constructively, and develop the confidence and capability to lead high-performing, sustainable teams.
A Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development and a member of the International Coaching Federation, Heidi combines technical expertise in employment relations with coaching, leadership development, and a commercially grounded, practical approach to solving people challenges.
Her leadership philosophy is simple but uncompromising: strong organisations are built through strong leaders; not by hierarchy control, but by clarity, accountability, and the quality of everyday leadership behaviours.
Alongside her work at LAW, Heidi serves as a Trustee of Jersey Hospice Care – a role shaped by deep personal appreciation for the care and dignity they provide to individuals and families. She is also a Board Member of the JCG Foundation, reflecting her dedication to education and nurturing future female leaders in Jersey.
Born and raised in Jersey, Heidi is passionate about developing leadership capability across the Channel Islands and believes that leadership should leave people, teams, and organisations stronger than it found them. Outside of work, she is happiest by the sea, spending time with her family and her dog Dougie, where life is simpler, grounded, and always close to the water.
