Eddie is LAW’s newest recruit. Reaching the rank of Warrant Officer during a 30-year career in the British Army, Eddie has used his skills and qualifications gained in the military to champion continual improvement while working in the construction sector in the UK and Jersey. Eddie’s key skills include people and performance management, systems assurance and control, auditing, compliance and health and safety. He holds a Level 7 Certificate in Strategic Management and Leadership and a Level 6 Graduateship in Construction Engineering.
After leaving the Army, Eddie constructed 30km of roads, an airstrip, bridges, and culverts in harsh conditions through a rainforest in Liberia, directing a 40-strong West African workforce.
Among the memberships of professional associations, Eddie is a Member of the Institution of Royal Engineers, a Member Chartered Management Institute, Charted Quality Institute and Technical Member of the Institution of Occupational Safety & Health (Tech IOSH). In 2007, he was made an MBE for services in Afghanistan.
In his downtime, he likes to explore Jersey’s beautiful coastline and is an active member of the Royal British Legion.
