DESCRIPTION:Who needs this training?\nAll care staff need to be aware of the principles of the Capacity and Self-Determination Law\, understand what a capacity assessment consists of and be aware of best interest decision making. This training is conversational and interactive and based on a case study which demonstrates the process of establishing if someone has capacity or not. Most importantly the training is specifically designed for Jersey legislation. CPD Accredited. \nLearning Outcomes\n\n\n\nTo understand the five core principles that underpin the law and the way they affect how the law is understood and used in practice.\nTo be aware of the assessment of capacity and understand the best interest decisions process on behalf of a person who lacks capacity.\nUnderstanding roles and responsibilities when providing care and treatment to a person who lacks capacity.\nBeing aware of what constitutes restraint when providing care to a person who lacks capacity.\n\n\n\nPrice is inclusive of GST.
