DESCRIPTION:Who needs this training?\nAll care staff working within the Care Industry. \n  \nWhy is this training required?\nThis training is described by Jersey Care Commission\, (“JCC”)\, in their care standards\, as a\nstatutory and mandatory training requirement for staff working within the care industry. \n  \nLearning Outcomes\n\n\n\nUnderstand the difference between functional mental illness\, learning disabilities and\ndementia.\nRecognise the different conditions associated with mental illness\, dementia and learning disability.\nBe aware of the healthcare needs of people living with mental illness\, dementia or a\nlearning disability.\nRecognise the impact our behaviours have on service users care and comfort.\nIdentify the adjustments which may be necessary in delivering person-centred care.\nBe aware of the legal frameworks\, policy and guidelines relating to the treatment and\ncare of mental health\, dementia and learning disabilities.\n\n\n\nPrice is inclusive of GST.
