Martin undertook his Law Degree before training as a Barrister (currently non-practising) and becoming a member of the Honourable Society of the Middle Temple.
Originally from Jersey in the Channel Islands, Martin specialised in employment at one of the major offshore law firms before first joining Law At Work in 2012.
In 2014, Martin was appointed Deputy Director of the Jersey Advisory and Conciliation Service “JACS” (a service similar in nature to ACAS in the UK). Whilst at JACS, Martin was responsible for the public training programme covering all aspects of employment law, employee relations and discrimination, whilst also acting as an Adviser and Conciliator for employers, employees and trade unions across both the public and private sectors.
